Best of Typst (TCDM) is a ranked list of awesome projects related to Typst, or the charted dark matter in Typst Universe (TCDM). Here, dark means these projects are invisible in https://typst.app/universe/.
A few days ago, its GitHub repo was starred by the 107th person.
As an indicator of how comprehensive the typst ecosystem is, the projects listed in TCDM get more than 50 K stars in total at present, which is on par with the typst/typst repo (~55 K stars).
You can see the growth curve in the diagrams below. The growth caused by the list including more projects is reflected as adding more color blocks, while the growth caused by each project getting more stars is reflected as the color blocks getting higher.
(Sorry for letting you see the poor diagram created by AI without modification. I just didn’t have time to improve it. The data is available as CSV in the history/ folder. I would appreciate it if anyone can make a good one as Discord | “A timeline of major Typst-related events in the past three years”.)
Questions
I have some questions about maintaining this list. They were proposed previously in GitHub Issues, but I want to gather more diverse opinions.

The listed projects are grouped into 11 categories. Two of them are
Writing and 
Programming. These two categories included far more projects than other categories, so it’s better to split them. I proposed a preliminary plan in #363.Do you agree that they should be split? Is the splitting plan appropriate? Do the names of the subcategories explain themselves?

Talks category in #407.Do you think that will offer a better experience than general video websites? Should talks be ranked by repo stars and last updated dates?
Finally, you might wonder why charted dark matter in Typst Universe is shortened as TCDM.
I just want to add a nontrivial suffix to Best of Typst, so that if this list becomes inactive someday, others can create another Best of Typst (XYZW). It doesn’t really matter what the specific suffix is.
As for TCDM, you may also interpret it as a cold joke for cosmologists (see ΛCDM).
