Is there a way to change the the margins for a section of the page so that the automatic line numbering follows the dimensions of the new margins? All my workarounds leave the line numbers at the original margin position…
Can you clarify what you mean here with an example document or an illustration of some kind, and maybe share the workarounds you’ve tried? Specifically I’m not quite sure what you mean by saying “automatic line numbering follows the dimensions of the new margins”.
Line numbers with par.line are a relatively new feature in Typst and only have limited flexibility at this point. There aren’t many options beyond those listed in the documentation, though number-clearance might be helpful for you, if I understand your goal correctly.
