Changing footnote number color

I’m adding footnotes to certain parts of math equations, and it’s confusing to see a footnote number in the middle of, well - other numbers!

Since footnotes don’t have a stroke parameter, what would you all suggest for my idea in the title? I just need every footnote to be in that color.
