Why don’t we make a package together to fix the issues that can be easily fixed listed in your document?

I tried a few weeks before and call it ctyp. It now focus on:

  1. A easy way to configure Chinese fonts. Users can specific font family for serif, sans, and mono shapes, and configure which shape is used for each element (strong, emph, etc.). For example, I can use FandolSong for normal text, and FandolHei or the bold variant of FandolSong for strong .
  2. Fix markers of list and enum. Now you may find markers of list and enum are a bit higher than text. I tried to fixed it.

But there is still a long way since so many problems remain to be solved. We’ve got many excellent Chinese developers (OrangeX4, for example). Perhaps it is possible for us to create something as important as “CTeX” in the LaTeX world!
