Hey everybody,
I’m converting my text or inappropriate PDF formats to 6 inch reader format. I’m perfectly happy with primitive page settings (width: 9cm, height: 12cm,) margins (x: 6%, y: 7%) and so on.
Since I’m not a programmer, there are some things I can’t do. For example, reduce the font size for page numbering to 1 of 1. I’d also like the header to alternate between the book title and the current chapter. Except for pages with a heading of level of 1. Of course to be able to adjust the size and font.
I have edited your post a bit to fix spelling mistakes, but I’m not quite sure what your intent with this post is.
Do you want to get help to create your ebook template yourself? If so, please split your problem up in separate questions and post to the Questions category.
Or are you looking to find someone who you can pay to build a template? This is a fine post for this category, but in that case, it would be good to learn a bit more about you and your requirements.
In general, I would ask you to put effort in your postings, that includes clear and correct spelling and grammar, familiarizing yourself with the rules of the Forum, and clearly stating what you are asking for. If you have problems with the English language, work with an LLM to rephrase. The community members are generous with their time, but you should be mindful not to waste it.
I was considering writing to the forum. It said no question is stupid. Or something like that.
My intention was simple. I was looking at the templates. And I didn’t find one for the ebook reader. Some of the templates are nice. But they are made for A4 size paper and mirror typesetting. I just wanted to point that out. Just that it’s a good idea to create one. As inspiration, if anyone’s wondering what to create.
I can format a document for my personal use. It would be even better if I could solve the two problems suggested (header format and page numbering font size). I do hope the problems were understandable. Thus, I will consider splitting them into two questions.
I think typst is a great thing. And I’ve been meaning to try it out, even though
I’ve been converting page size to reader with other tools.
