(I hope I didn’t just fail to figure out how to add “custom” tags to a post…)

I hope it’s a good idea to make one post for all such issues:

My first two posts don’t really fit any tags more specific than scripting. I think the best next fit would be data-loading, which is also a category in the Typst Docs’ reference. Most of the other doc categories seem to be covered already, but these would be nice if added: data-loading, introspection, latex-migration/latex-equivalent or something like that. Also not explicitly in the docs, but maybe cli?

If considered a good idea, feel free to add more tag requests in the replies.

First, I was wondering what’s happening since I can create tags in the new topic composer. However, this settings entry makes it clear:

Discourse setting showing that tag creation is allowed for trust level 3 and above, moderators by default

Only Trust Level 3 and above users can do it, and most of you are currently on level 1 (there is 0-4). You are promoted up to the third level automatically as you engage with the Forum, you can check more on how it works here.

While I don’t think it would create a big issue to lower this requirement now, I think it could be in the future. For now, I’ll add the tags you suggested.
