Does Tinymist support GPU rendering?

I find a 3d graphics drawing package called povrayst: 0.1.0 in Typst Universe. It costs a lot of time to render just one picture because it uses cpu to handle all the calculation process. I am wondering if tinymist supports GPU rendering? I noticed that there are “GPU” words in names of released assets in Tinymist’s Github repository.

If Tinymist do support GPU rendering, how can I enable it?

From my understanding Tinymist supports displaying/painting the finished document contents via GPU preview. The compilation, so all the calculations are still handled by Typst which uses CPU only.
There is no benefit for your use case.

To use the GPU rendering in VSCode you need the Tinymist extension, the Tinymist GPU viewer extension and set the following setting:

"tinymist.previewer": "myriad-dreamin.tinymist-gpu-viewer"
