How to add a space in formula?

Such a simple question, and I can’t find answer to it.

Using a backslash introduces a new line, instead of a space

Hi, thanks for your question! I have moved it to the Questions category ;)

There are a couple of kinds of space available, they are listed here: General Symbols – Typst Documentation

As the page says:

For example, #sym.arrow produces the → symbol. Within formulas, these symbols can be used without the #sym. prefix.

That means you could e.g. write

$ a quad b $

@SillyFreak, thank you!

Instead of editing the title with [ANSWERED], it’d be nicer if you could just mark @SillyFreak’s answer as the solution :)
