If I have an array of upper uncertainties (e.g. (0.5, 0.2, 0.3)) and lower uncertainties (e.g. (0.2, 0.4, 0.1)), how can I create a bar/scatterplot with correspondingly sized errorbars in lilaq? Right now, the yerr parameter only takes in a single array which denotes the (equal) upper and lower uncertainties.

Asymmetric uncertainty are indeed supported.
Please check out the documentation of the parameter plot.xerr which explains the various ways of how to use them. The same applies to plot.yerr.
The example Bar plot with error bars − Lilaq shows how to apply errorbars to other plots such as bar plots.
