How to import docs written in other processing languages?

I am new to Typst and excited about using it. I have written books and articles in Apple’s Pages, consequently converting them into pdfs or epub files. I am thinking about converting these books, etc. into Typist. Question: can I use the native formatted Pages files or pdf files and copy them into a Typst template?

Hi there! Welcome to the Typst Forum!
You could try to convert your apple pages projects into docx using an (online) converter (if the export is supported in apple pages natively that would of course be even better). After that, you can convert the docx file into Typst using the Typst webapp (“Start from a file”). Most likely the conversion won’t be perfect, but I don’t really know about a better alternative and it should be a good starting point at least :man_shrugging:
If you have a follow up question or if you don’t understand one of the steps, don’t hesitate to ask again.

Thank you Adrian for your tip. I’ll try the online app. I appreciate your help.
