How to prevent duplicate citations keys in bibliography?

I’m using alphanumerical citations like f.e. [Bea25]. In my document there is one part where I cite two different articles from Bea but they’re both from the year 2025. In the text itself it correctly switches to [Bea25a] and [Bea25b] but in the bibliography underneath it just shows [Bea25] twice (with different URL,… ofc) . Is that a bug or did I do something wrong? The bibliography uses the “ieee”-style but it also didn’t work when I tried a different one.

This has been asked before in `alphanumeric` style: How to get disambiguation letters (e.g., [ASS96a] and [ASS96b]) in bibliography labels? and there is an open issue about it here.
