I don’t see what the problem would be, though since some of those would lie well before the release of Typst 0.14, probably best to make sure whatever answer you post holds up in the latest release.
That’s my end goal, since I was absent during 2024-11–2025-02. I have bookmarks and unread emails to help me discover what I’ve missed. Better to have more posts with solutions than less.
Adding a solution to an old post is a very generous act. As Paul744 noted, it’s always a good idea to note the version of whatever software is on topic so your follow-on post makes sense in light of the dates of the post and your reply.
Also solutions may evolve or develop over time and versions of Typst - i’d say it’s preferable to get a hint something might have changed - maybe for the better?
Also in these cases it might be worth flagging the post with the updated answer for mod attention. I can either add a note pointing out the old answer is outdated, or outright change the accepted answer (though I prefer if OP chooses the answer in most cases)
That’s a nice offer - i think of SO answers in that regard - there answers pile often up under good questions, just because of tool changes and/or brain evolvements.
It would be nice if the platform would itself allow hinting alternative answers in better understandable way.
