Is the symbol detection in tinymist not working a the moment?

Hey everyone,

I’m having trouble with the symbol detection feature in the Tinymist Typst extension for Visual Studio Code — the one that’s supposed to recognize symbols when you draw them.

It doesn’t seem to work on any of my devices (I’ve tested both on macOS and Windows). Drawing a symbol doesn’t trigger any detection or suggestion at all.

I’m wondering if this feature is currently broken, or if I might have to enable something specific in the settings? Has anyone else noticed the same issue recently?

I think that feature is currently simply broken in Tinymist v0.14.0, can you open an issue in the Tinymist repo?

Workaround: it just runs detypify.quarticcat.com/ locally, so you can use that instead.
