Presenter Notes Package?

Hi everyone!

I am trying to make a presentation with Typst and so far so good.
But I’m missing the presenter notes other tools such as PowerPoint or Keynote offer.

Is there an option to emulate such behaviour?

Thanks! :D

Typst packages like:

are offering speaker notes through PDF viewers such as:

EDIT: Typst Web App on Speaker Notes:

Presentation Mode – Typst Documentation
Currently, Typst’s presentation mode does not have a facility for speaker notes. This is planned for the future.

Hi!

You might want to check out presentate, a recent and actively developed presentation framework for Typst. It supports animations (pause, step-by-step reveals) and now includes several themes with structured hierarchy (parts, sections, subsections) with automatic transitions and navigation.

Regarding presenter notes and pdfpc: there is some early work toward pdfpc compatibility in the github repository.

If you prefer a ready-to-use theme, you can also look at unofficial-sorbonne-presentation, which is built on top of presentate and provides a polished academic style with preconfigured layouts and navigation. It also recently introduced basic support for a draft mode and notes.
