I would like to suggest adding support for using a comma as the decimal separator when the language is set to Spanish. This is the standard convention in most Spanish-speaking countries, and implementing it would enhance the usability and accuracy of documents for Spanish-speaking users.
In English the norm is to format numbers like this β13,001.62β (or β13 001.62β) and we can note that this use of thousands separator is not implemented natively in Typst either - so to be fair, English, Spanish, Swedish (my language) etc are all missing support for their native number formatting. Packages like zero or unify implement detailed control of formatting.
