Swedish references to tables and figures should not be capitalized

When writing a text in swedish, we do not capitalize references to figures and tables when they are in the middle of a sentence. I thus want to ask if it would be possible to set the default ref(supplement) to a lower-case value for figures and tables respectively? This still needs to be possible to overwrite when beginning a sentence with a reference.

Okay, I’ll post one there. It would also be great to have table captions be up top by default for swedish, so I’ll also add that.

I feel like table captions MUST be at the top, regardless of language, but maybe I am wrong. At least, it is also the case in French (and English?)

In English (APA regulations) Table headings on top of the table and short; Explanations go into a footnote below the table.
Figure (image/diagram) headings below. They can be more verbose and contain explanations,
