I’m very happy to announce my first Typst package
What is it for? It replaces actual text with random characters, which is useful for two purposes:
- Redacting confidential information.
- Sharing the design and structure of an existing document without disclosing the content itself.
It has a variety of ready-made sets of characters for replacement (75 in total; termed alphabets), which represent diverse writing systems, codes, notations and symbols. So… combining the idea of the biblical Tower of Babel and the available alphabets, I created a simple poster in Typst (code)
Feel free to suggest (as a reply here or as an issue) any improvement to the package or the poster (which is admittedly naïve and rudimentary ).
Pull requests of any kind are also very welcome.
The manual provides introductory background, explains how to use the provided functions, and lists the provided alphabets, each demonstrated by a line of random text.
