Does Typst team considered to add a “Sync to Dropbox / Google Drive” function to the Typst App? It will be helpful if the online documents could be stored and sync to drive such as DropBox. Thank you!

I’m not on the typst team, but just want to give my perspective.
First, adding storage sync to another service conflicts with their general business model. They have a very generous free plan. If that doesn’t have enough space, you upgrade to the pro plan that has sync with github.
Perhaps the only thing that makes sense here is for typst to add a “backup” button so that you can download all of your documents in a zip file.
Second, you can have storage sync if you use typst locally, and that is completely in your control. If you didn’t know, you can install typst as a CLI tool with which you can compile documents locally.
That quite literally already exists. It’s in the top right corner of the editor.

I understand it is their general business model, but this function can also be in Typst Pro. I mean Typst Pro only provides 2GB storage, probably because the cloud service storage fee is really high for a large group of users. I don’t mean to use this function for free.

While you formulated the title as a question, this feels more like a topic for General and less like something someone looking for help would search for in the future. I hope you don’t mind!
On the topic: I also think this would be a great Pro feature. I think the business model is less about storing people’s files and more about the features that the web app brings versus just the Typst compiler: collaboration, easy onboarding, etc. I have no idea if it’s on their timeline, but I don’t think it’s out of the question.

I think it meant downloading all projects at once
We don’t currently have plans for a Dropbox/Google Drive sync feature. It’s not out of the question, but we haven’t heard of a lot of people wanting this, so there are many things that have higher priority for us.
