Typst Pro for instituions

Dear community,

I am currently using Typst to write papers in my university and would like to collaborate with my supervisor through Typst. Is there a possibility to use Typst Pro through if I am affiliated to a university or research institution?

Hi @Thomas1,

Typst does not offer free or discounted access to Pro features for students/universities, but if you as the document owner have Pro all collaborators are able to use the Pro features.

Hi @Thomas1, could you maybe try to revise your post’s title to be a complete question as per the question guidelines:

Good titles are questions you would ask your friend about Typst.

We hope by adhering to this, we make the information in this forum easy to find in the future.

Maybe that title could clarify whether you’re more asking for

  • whether you can use Pro if your university has an institutional Pro license (i.e. Pro for institutions – which afaik only exists in the form of Typst’s on-premises offerings), or
  • whether you can get a discount on a personal Pro license if you are a student (which is what @flokl answered)?
